Sr. Monice served as pastoral minister at St. Fabian Parish, Bridgeview, IL, and Immaculate Conception Parish, Chicago; as director of the permanent diaconate formation program for the Archdiocese of Chicago; and as a member of the Resources for Mission Team for the Sinsinawa Dominican Congregation while living in Chicago. Many admired her lifetime dedication to her family, particularly her older sister Germaine, who was also a Dominican Sister of Sinsinawa. She was 88 years of age.
